About Me

I am a Doctor in Psychology (PsyD) and an Art Therapist (MA AT, AThR), member of the Federatie Vaktherapeutische Professions (FVP, NVBT), Netherlands, Art Therapy Association Singapore (ATAS) and Australia and New Zealand Art Therapy Association (ANZATA).
Member, Access Counselling Services Network, Netherlands (CSN)

NVBT member 109638, KvK # 69576130

In my doctorate, I specialized in Psychology of Family and Couples at the Professional School of Psychology, USA.

I hold a Masters’ degree in Art Therapy and a Psychology and Art Bachelor’s degree. I am an ADHD Coach for children, adolescents and adults. I also hold a diploma in Rehabilitation Art. I gained my experience working with children, adolescents and adults in a variety of clinical settings such as schools, hospitals and private clinics.

I have been working since 1998 in Singapore, India and Israel, with a wide variety of clients. I was responsible for treating conditions including ADHD; Asperger’s; Autism; emotional difficulties; depression and behavioural problems; eating disorders; relocation and culture adjustment; divorce; and more.

I recently moved to the Netherlands and am glad to have the opportunity to open a private clinic in Den Haag.

In recent years I have been working as a private practitioner. As part of my Doctorate I have been working with adults, couples and families in relocation, expatriation and repatriation, dealing with related challenges; stress, depression, anxiety, its effect on relationships and family members, shift of roles and challenges adopting.  I have conducted various workshops and group activities in this field.

For my Masters’ degree, I researched Art therapy as a tool to assess and treat relocated families and children. I did my internship in Singapore at Mari Stella kindergarten, working with young children suffering from emotional problems deriving from various personal and environmental challenges such as divorced parents, full time working parents and stress in the education system.

I later did my second internship, continuing my practice at Raffles Hospital Counselling Centre, where I worked with adults and adolescents on cultural adjustment, eating disorder, etc.

I am a qualified supervisor and am practicing in my private clinic at Van Diemenstraat 202, Unit 2.3, 2518 VH Den Haag, Netherlands.

Additional experience:
•    Working at AWWA School for the last eight years with Autistic and CP children.
•    Conducting workshops and presenting guest lectures at SIM, SUM and Insead.
•    Practicing as an Art Therapist at Cognitive Health Consultancy International (CHCI) affiliated with Dr. Roby Marcou, Singapore.
